Making the Most of Student Ratings (Self Paced)

By the end of this track you will be able to use the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction (SRI) process to interrogate, understand and develop your own teaching practice through the ability to

• Recognize the strengths and weaknesses of student feedback tools as well as the myths surrounding them.
• Apply course learning outcomes to frame instruction, guide student expectations, and select IDEA Learning Objectives.
• Administer the IDEA SRI survey in a way that will guarantee reliable (good response rate) and valid (meaningful) results.
• Interpret the IDEA Diagnostic Feedback course report.
• Make sense of student feedback and apply that knowledge to developing teaching practice.
